Total vacancies: 08 posts
Age limit: Age of the applicant is not more than 54 years.
Eligibility criteria:
Post of Associate Professor in Computer Science
Scale of pay: Basic Pay (Revised) - 1,31,400/-
Essential Qualification:
(i) Master's degree in computer science from a recognized university with 55% marks (or one where grading system is followed, equivalent grade on a point scale).
(ii) Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree from a recognized university affiliated / relevant discipline.
(iii) At least eight years of teaching experience and / or research in academic / research position equivalent to assistant professor in a university, college or recognized research institute except for the duration of the PhD, with proof of published work and research with at least five publication in the form of books and / or research / policy papers.
(iv) Contribution in academic innovation, new courses and curriculum and design of technology mediation.
Teaching-learning process with proof of guided doctoral candidates and research students
(v) The minimum score set in the academic performance indicator (API) Performance Based Evaluation System (PBS) set by UGC.
Desirable qualification:
(i) Degree / Diploma in Distance Education or Work Experience at Distance Learning Institute
(ii) adequate knowledge of computer
(iii) Proficiency in both English and Assamese languages
Academic Consultant in Social Works, Mass Communication, Philosophy and History
Scale of pay: Rs. 21,600/- (fixed)
Essential Qualification:
(i) Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in the point of time of grading
System is followed), according to UGC SC / ST / with the discount of marks for different eligible candidates guidelines for the purpose of eligibility on Master's degree in the subject related to accreditation University.
(ii) Qualification in the National / State Level Eligibility Test (NET / SLET) conducted for the purpose any other agency approved by the UGC. However, the candidates, who are awarded with Ph.D. degree in according to the University Grants Commission (according to the minimum standards and procedure for the award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation, 2009 ", will be exempt from the minimum qualification requirement condition of Net / SLET
Desirable qualification:
(i) Degree / Diploma in Distance Education or Work Experience at Distance Learning Institute
(ii) adequate knowledge of computer
(iii) Proficiency in both English and Assamese languages
Application fee: The application should be converted by the draft of the bank. For the KKHOSU, the slice number -1 and 1000 crores will be 1000 Taka on behalf of the bank draft. 500 / - will be drawn from SLN-2 to 7, Guwahati for KKHSOU.
