Junior Assistant

Educational qualification: 

• Candidates' minimum educational qualification for junior assistant posts will be recognized by the Government of India recognized by the state government, in the arts, science, or trade department, degree or equivalent of government and government.

• Candidate must have proficiency of basic computer like MS windows, Linux, Mac Excel , Power Point, DTP (English/Assamese) and Internet etc. candidates must processes a minimum 6(six) moths Diploma in Computer Application from institute recognized by Government.

Age limit:  Candidate must not be less than less than 18 years of age or more than 44 years of age as on 01.01.2018. 5 years for upper age SC / ST and disabled people and 3 years for OBC / MOBC.

Salary: PB – 14000-49000, GP-6200/- per month

Selection procedure: Candidates applying for the post of Junior Assistant will have to appear in a written examination according to the government. Notification no. GAG (B) 4619/2016/36, DT. On 15th March, 2017, the general score of 150 marks (75 marks), general knowledge (50 marks), quantitative qualifications (25 points) computer theory (50 marks), language skills (50 points- Assamese / Bengali / Bodo / alternative English) . Candidates with shortlists only have to appear in the Computer Proficiency Exam (50 points).
